ground(ctrl) is looking for a senior PHP developer to work on significant architectural changes that will position us to be more flexible and scalable. Your duties will involve the following:
- Refactor existing code with an eye towards testability and performance.
- Develop models and controllers to support new store features for our users. You will also work with our front end team, giving them the tools to make views.
- Work with other developers on our business-side CMS, which is used by other staff in populating stores, fulfilling orders, and running reports.
- Work with other development directors in shaping the future of the company.
Requirements
- 5+ years working with PHP and MySQL
- Experience developing for high traffic environments. Including planning and implementing strategies for caching content, using multiple servers, and optimizing queries.
- Experience writing unit tests
