Our relationship with Papa Roach pre-dates the existence of ground(ctrl) by almost a decade. Whether it’s Eddie Meehan’s days working with band in early 2000 while a part of CBS radio, or Greg Patterson’s years spent touring with the band and managing their online properties. This intricate understanding of the band, their fans and their artistic integrity led to Papa Roach becoming the very first client for ground(ctrl).
Too many fragmented properties created a disconnect between the band’s voice and their fans.
Provide the fans a way to live and breathe with the band (and each other) online.
We took the Papa Roach fansite, proachriot.com, and merged it with the band’s site, paparoach.com, creating one single official site. This created one destination for all things Papa Roach. The new destination, powered by the ground(ctrl) platform, enabled fans to connect with the band (and each other) in a new and exciting way.
By taking control of the band’s existing fan community and street team websites, the community has grown exponentially. Membership continues to soar making this one of our most active and rapidly growing communities. With the release of the band’s 5th studio album "Metamorphosis," Papa Roach shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. Neither do their fans.
